All About Audrey
Audrey Phipps (she/her) is a singer, actor, enthusiastic mover, and stage manager from Scottsdale, Arizona. She is currently earning her BFA in Musical Theatre with a Minor in Marketing at Ohio University. After she graduates in May of 2026 she intends to move to Chicago!
Audrey is a bubbly, type A, older sister and takes these roles (as well as her performance roles) very seriously. Her favorite roles to play have been Sophie in Mamma Mia, Caroline in Island Song, and Beth in Hurricane Diane. She grew up going to see theatre, and believes art has the power to bring us together, help us develop empathy, make political statements, and change lives.
As a performer she strives to tell stories genuinely, and always taps into the most vulnerable aspects of her characters. She wants the audience to leave with some part of the show plaguing their mind. After training extensively in the Meisner technique, Shakespeare, and acting through song, she approaches all her work in a strategic way and always brings critical analysis and intellect to her process. She leads with grit, patience, organization, and gratitude. As a stage manager, she has seen the impact a kind, level headed leader can bring to a space, and aims to bring this energy to every room she enters.
Outside of theatre you can find her playing virtually any Taylor Swift song on her guitar, having a wine and board game night with her friends, going on coffee outings, walking with a customized playlist on, or getting existential with her roommates late at night.
